The TMF 175-H is a tractor flail mower with hydraulic side shift designed by Dal Degan for shredding grass, pruning residues, vegetable waste, and small shrubs in vineyards, orchards, olive groves, agricultural land, and green areas. Thanks to its working width of 175 cm, it represents the highest-performing model in the medium series with hydraulic shift, ideal for farms, green space maintainers, and contractors requiring high productivity and working precision.
The machine is compatible with tractors from 40 to 45 HP and is equipped with a category 1 three-point hitch. The reinforced structure ensures robustness and stability even when working with the cutting unit fully offset, a feature particularly useful for operations along rows, fences, ditches, and obstacles at the edges of plots.
The main strength of the TMF 175-H is the hydraulic side shift system, which allows the operator to change the mower’s position directly from the cab without interrupting work. This solution enables precise operation close to trees, posts, hedges, walls, and borders, reducing tractor maneuvers and significantly increasing hourly productivity.
The cutting system consists of a double-spiral rotor equipped with 24 hammers, designed to ensure effective and uniform shredding of grass, prunings, and branches up to 35 mm in diameter. Internal counter-blades promote finer shredding of plant material, improving the natural decomposition of residues and leaving the ground tidier after the machine passes.
The cutting height is adjustable from 20 to 90 mm via the robust rear roller, allowing the work to be adapted to different agronomic needs and soil conditions. This versatility makes the TMF 175-H an ideal solution for both routine grass maintenance and the management of pruning residues in vineyards, orchards, and olive groves.
The side transmission with three belts ensures reliable power transfer and longer life for mechanical components even during the most intensive use. The oil-bath gearbox with free wheel protects the transmission from kickbacks and helps preserve the tractor’s PTO over time.
The equipment is completed by the adjustable rear roller, adjustable side skids, hydraulic cylinder for side shift, and the PTO shaft supplied as standard.
